I use these with schnitz straps, i'm pretty sure the ones for the 05-06 1000 will fit yours

the links for the 06's are different, instead of two simple dog bones its a one piece unit with a bearing carrier built in, like this



so it will take a little bit longer for someone to develop something but i'm sure in the next few weeks something will come available

i agree about the exhaust, considering looks like slip ons for it will be $500+ i haven't seen anything yet that knocked my socks off, if i had one i'd probably just leave it stock unless someone comes out with something really really cool
