That particular McLaren was imported under a different set of rules than the XJ220 in whatever video you're talking about.

The XJ220 was most likely done under a Temporary Import for display (this is the one that's under at least a time limit, I'm not sure about the milage one) while the McLaren was done via an ICI and can be driven on public roads. As a matter of fact the guy that bought it drives it to work everyday o_O
