It didn't say anything about stripping off the previous wax or about the more coats, the more protection you have. the instructions basically say "1.) apply to a clean, dry surface that is cool to the touch. 2.) wipe on with a soft cloth and let dry to a haze. 3.) wipe off. 4.)allow to cure out of the elements and direct sunlight for 12 hours for maximum effect."
