10mph over is one thing, a wheelie is reckless driving (you can't steer well with the front wheel in the air), not to mention there aren't alot of people around here that know how to wheelie properly and "safely". if you can run down the interstate on the back wheel and hold 55-60 mph, steady, that's one thing, but most people can't, and they're accelerating the whole time the front wheel is in the air. by the time the front wheel's on the ground again, they're well over 10mph past the speed limit.

if you were getting pulled over for speeding at 10 over, and actually pulled over, there wouldn't be a 110mph chase!! hell, i'd take a speeding ticket over a felony evasion/reckless driving/etc charge any day. ever if you were to get stopped for doing a wheelie, it's still only a reckless driving charge, and that's better than going straight to jail, after you get out of the hospital because you wrecked trying to run from the cops.

it's all been pissing me off, as i can't even ride around like a normal rider, without every cop thinking i'm just going to take off, or waiting for me to do something stupid. all the people running from the cops is killing it for the rest of us. we all do dumb things on bikes from time to time. if you get caught, man up and take your ticket, don't be a dumbass and run from them, giving everyone on a sportbike a bad name.
