That Civic is pretty damn impressive to only have 26x horsepower and 190 ft-lbs of torque, seriously. Granted, that's not necessarily a small number, but it seems to run better than a 260hp Civic would in my eyes.
thanks for the welcome
i was trying to figure out who you were-i have a hard time on here since i'm not familiar with anybody's screen names.
the dyno plots for both cars are from a Mustang dyno, which generally reads a lot lower than a Dynojet.the weight you put in for the vehicle alters the output.the weights Jack entered for my cars are 2400 and 2500lbs.
that should equal about 325 crank HP on the coupe, and around 155ish crank HP on the hatch.
right now the coupe's down-having problems with the EMS.after i get it fixed,i hope to get to the track one more time this year on the stock engine.i'd like to get into the 7's-i know it can do it since last year it ran 8.01 with a 2.3 60'.i didn't have a laptop with me,and had the launch limiter set way too low,so it was just bogging and killing my 60' times.i know that 1.8's are easily doable,so 7's should be no problem.
i've got a full long block build that i'm putting together for higher boost.the guy that tunes my car has done about five setups almost identical to what i'll have that have made over 400WHP on his dyno(well over 500 crank HP),with the 750cc injectors being the limit to how much boost he could tune at.he's done a couple cars with 1000cc injectors, and the same setup otherwise that made close to or just over 500WHP......i can't wait
