3rd offense carries a mandatory jail sentence, five days if I'm not mistaken. There are going to be some serious changes to the driving suspended code section 46.2-301 after July 1st. It looks like it's going to mimick the old habitual offender code 46.2-357.
edit: When you were stopped and the officer asked for your license did you do the "suspneded pat down shuffle"? You know...the move where you touch every pocket on your shirt and pants with both hands hoping and wishing your license magically appears knowing the whole time it's suspended.
