For the great import shots i was thinking of heading to noke and going on top of one the parking garages downtown when there are no other cars to take some shots with the Wachovia tower behind or the star...all nice choices though
Yeah I actually did get a pic with the car and the falls.. pulled up, threw on the flashers... ran across the road and snapped a pic... but it came out really bad.. if I had someone with me who could move the car quickly if another car came then I could get a real good shot. Oh well, nother time nother day. I never knew about Lake Moomaw til I saw the sign heading up 220 and said why not. SOO glad I did too, cause all around that lake are some perfect places to take pics. I was going to pull down on the loading dock, but there were to many people around putting boats in. I need to do this in the middle of the week when there's no one around. I also remembered a spot up near Lexington where there's a low stone bridge crossing the creek. Again its on a dirt road, but it is in the middle of no where so I should have time to get a good shot.

All in all I had a great trip. Went on into Warm Springs and came back. Next time I think I will run back across 42 and head into Lexington. Or maybe take a whole weekend and run up to the Gorge Bridge and back.
