yeah I've seen a ton of older clean ones going for $1500 or less in great condition. The rough cosmetic ones are a steal though.
BTW I'll probably be bringing the xr250 down later this week or early next week. Let me know when a good time is. I lost the stupid ebay auction for the cylinder so I haven't bought anything yet other than the gaskets and fork seals
