Technically, it should NOT. TPS are "signal transducers". It converts a position to a respective voltage output to the ECU. So in reality, if the TPS is from a different model or car, the voltage output will be different. However I have seen it work as well using TPS from other cars or models. I think that maybe the voltage difference maybe too minute to make a difference.

I'm using a Mustang 75mm TB/TPS on my integra. But I can get away with it because AEM EMS can recalibrate any TPS.
