I was really worried that I may have chosen the wrong sports car........but I can tell you I am totally impressed. I drove a rental car from my job (Annapolis, MD) straight out to Charleston, WV to check out a 2006 Z06 Corvette. I spent some time looking at everything and the car was immaculate (air-conditioned garage kept by an older gentleman).....only 1200 miles on the odometer. I even gave the guy $250 extra because it was so clean (hey, Karma is good) and I was happy with the price. I left @ 2pm today and drove the 6 hours back home.....whew, what a friggin' blast....beautiful scenery and 75mph @ 1600 rpm in 6th gear. That 505hp, 427 cubic inch motor is a beast. Lots of torque! I got alot of thumbs up and an S2000 wanted to toy with me. That didn't last too long I've never been a big Chevy fan (grew up with Torinos, Cobras) but the Z06 seems VERY solid and rattle free. I can honestly say I was impressed more than I thought I would be. It's late, so I'll take a few pics tomorrow after detailing.....these were taken when I pulled in (below). Ritz, I'd like to hit you up for a few pics (I'll take care of ya) whenever you get a chance. I'm going to see if I can get a clear bra installed tommorrow. If I wasn't so fricken tired.......I'd take it for a cruise tonight. Brian.....you've got first dibs.
