If you want to open up your own shop one day, why don't you look into becoming a service writer at a dealership? That's the stepping stone to management and would be valuable real worl experience towards helping you open that shop. Not to mention, the pay is nice.

BTW...that job I told you about a couple weeks ago is still available, and the pay is about $3 more per hour than what I had originally told you.
