vtec is a cool concept, but some people act like it makes their car faster. think about it this way, if you just used the more aggresive cam, you would have the power *increase* through-out your whole rpm range, but they wanted to keep it economical and save gas. Im not bashing it at all. i think its borderline brilliant, but it doesnt make the car faster, thats how fast the car is supposed to be. out of vtec is kinda like resting, when ya dont need the power. i think its great concept. but some people act like it makes them faster than everybody else.
btw, Ferrari has a really cool system for vvt, anybody know what im talkin about. i dont know if any of the other companies do the same as them.
