I don't see how setting it on the box will take you were you want? A 2-step is set at a certain RPM to have your boost built and ready to go at a certain place where you want.
Thats right you haven't driven a Supra and you probably haven't driven an '04 Cobra. A two-step is used in every type of car (not just turbos) to launch at lower rpm (of your choice) while floored. Myclone doesn't count because he has an auto which will put load on the system when you try to go and hold the brakes.
edit: myclone your are right about the 2 step working on a turbo car, didn't think much on it at first.
