What about the idiots that bought and continued to drive the vehicles in question after they knew the problems? Is that still Ford's fault? I mean, they're still Pinto's out there being driven and plenty of Explorer's.

If they knowingly released deathtraps, so be it. Just about every car on the road is a death trap. Cigarette companies but out cancer sticks by the billions daily with people knowing the affects from them. The people did not have to buy and continue driving the vehicles after all the negative press, thats there own fault.
