you can just hop off 95 at the 2nd wagner road exit in petersburg. Make a right at the second light and you are on 460. The cops aren't real bad. Just make sure you slow down through the towns, especially Disputanta, Wakefield, and Zuni. Other than that it really is a cool ride.
