I know this has been posted but I want to get a good feel on how I should go about getting my car painted. I've done the maaco thing once a looong time ago and it was ehh paint and I've done the pay a backyard painter and damn that was sketchy and didn't end up well. out of the two I would go back to maaco but I want some opinions. Car has a few tiny spots of surface rust which I hope some sanding can take car of and with a light sand and taped up it should be ready to go. I want good paint used "red" and want a good job done. Don't want to spend over a grand honestly, would like to spend half of that. I have always been told that you can either have quality, price, or speed when getting stuff done and you have to pick 2 , but I want it all! Car is a crx so not a lot of ground to cover. I live in Lanexa and work in williamsburg so I don't want to cross over the water to get it painted. thanks in advance
