this is in a 93 turbo mr2.
I have never had any grinding issues or pop out with it.
anyhow tonight I'm on it and go 3rd to 4th and 4th all it does is grind going into it which its never done before. So i pulled it out and try puttin it back in and let the clutch out quick and still it grinds real bad and the shifter pops out.
Went and tested it a couple times doing 3rd to 4th at just regular speeds and it would grind and pop out and if i held the shifter fully in 4th it would still grind and not go into the gear.
I jacked the car up to check and watch the shifting and everything looked fine, cables are good, everything is straight and not loose or bent from what i can tell.
The only way i can get it into 4th is if i shift in and then let the rpm's come below 3000 and slowly let teh clutch out, then its good to go, it doesn't pop out or grind at all.
I was thinking a bent fork but am not too sure. Any ideas?
