Will it rev past 4800 in 3rd gear?

On that note, I know that a 400 hp cobra such like jim's, will have a shorter run in 4th gear which is 1.1 than most street driven cars. But at the same time his 3rd gear will still have a drastic time difference from whatever rpm to whatever rpm. My statement was a generalzation of difference in time, not the actual time it takes in your 1.1 gear.

Doing it in 3rd will make your numbers lower
And running on a tread mill in 3rd gear will make you loose weight. But you dont seem to be trying that.

1. There is no such thing as an "accurate dyno reading". Its all imaginary numbers calculated by a computer.
2. If there is no real number there, then no matter what gear you run in, the computer can calculate for that. For example. If everyone in the country dyno'd in third gear from day one, and all the sudden people used 4th gear, then 3rd gear would be more accurate, since that is what the regular is. Get my point? Imagination can not be accurate.
3. Why would using gears to multiply torque give you lower numbers? - Honest question because I would think in my imagination that it would give greater numbers, as proven on many dyno days I have witnessed.
4. 1.1 gear is a great way to try to take computer error out of the equation. Because then it doesnt try to produce more or less hp for the gear.
5. With your theory, then different size tires will make you dyno you higher or lower, but that will get shot down any day of the week, because all a tire size does it change your 1.1 gear ratio. Get my point?

All this about hp and numbers is fucking imaginary. They are computer generated numbers. Its like fucking Pi. Go multiply your hp by pi and thats the cicurmfrance of your ankles.
