Re: f1: schumi retires. driver announcement today
Did they officially announce it now? I don't have access to SpeedTV in my hotel and I refuse to check F1.com or anything else until I go watch the race at 12:30 today.
I think Ferrari's lineup is going to be hard to beat. Alonso hasn't been nearly as impressive since they got rid of the mass damper system. I see him in the top 5 at best. My thoughts are Kimi #1, Massa #2, possibly Jenson #3 (even though I can't stand him) or Alonso #3, And maybe a wild card like Heidfeld rounding it out.
Next year is going to be good...very good. Schumi will be sorely missed though. I can't see him getting out though. I wouldn't be suprised if he replaces Ross Braun in the next couple years.
