. Just because you have a hard time or cant do something does not mean someone else cant.
Also dont assume about others with not being able to get traction. I have no problems. You can ask many members of this board, and they will tell you that i can launch my car on the street as well as keep traction from a roll. If you want to say its because i dont make power then fine, i dont care how much power i make all i care about is the time slip which you can see in my sig and thats after i have run the car for 3 years.
.
haha,i get along just fine.my coupe's been turbo for over six years.i'm pretty good at using the
available traction.i don't care how good a driver you are,you can't create traction.a relatively narrow DOT tire on our FWD cars will not hook anything like the much wider tires you can fit under a RWD vehicle that already has a traction advantage anyway thanks to simple physics.
my car has a good shock/spring setup, traction bars,an LSD and Azenis.i can keep it from spinning wildly, but i'm using very little of the power available.from a 15,20,30,whatever roll up to about 50MPH it will either spin or you peddle it enough that you're not really going anywhere.a Honda with 200WHP will have traction problems thru the top of 2nd gear.i'm not saying that you're not making power,or anything of the sort.at 1Bar i'm sure you're making a good bit more power than me!
this argument is going nowhere fast.our cars are limited in that area, and there's not a lot you can do about it,regardless.you put a stock LS turbo setup in a light enough car on slicks and it will certainly go fast-i don't dispute that either.those cars are few and far between.none are going to have full power accessories, full interior,etc....i'm pretty sure the guy in this truck can throw his slicks in the bed,and drive to the track with the A/C and radio on,run a low 11 and drive home.maybe slick to slick you have somthing for him.on street tires(even your Azenis),at anything but a high roll,he's got you.he will be able to put much more power to the ground than you, period.
i'm not saying that any of what you're telling me is impossible.i know people that have ran extremely fast times with various setups that shouldn't be that fast.i don't doubt that people are making HUGE power on totally stock internal engines(i ran 12psi on my stock C1 for about four years with only an MF-II for fuel),but there is a bit of luck involved in those engines staying together, period.
