how are all of these prisoners escaping?

I remember several years ago when I was in Kentucky, five prisoners escaped a maximum security prison not too far away from where I was at (in Nashville, TN IIRC).. you want to know how they escaped? They carried a matress out of the prison and used it to get over the razor wire. How do you carry a matress out of a maximum security prison and use it to jump razor wire and go unnoticed? Shit. I spent a weekend in a local jail cell for a traffic violation and it seemed like there was no way out of that place! lol..
