my friend got that same charge in PA. He lsot his license for 6 mo in PA and talked to a lawyer just to check on things and the lawyer told him that often times it takes the state the offense was committed in months to send it over to your state/dmv and something to be done about it. Often times it never even makes it to your home state so your license is only suspended in the state where the offense was committed. this is what the lawyer told him and this was for PA, it could be diff in otehr places.
