no joke...if a sales person moves a car for a customer and it needs to be put back, then you repark it....you put flags on cars, put the MSRP stickers on the cars, and if someone buys a car, then you go get gas for it. you get to drive cars all day, u make good money, and its pretty fun/easy. Go around to dealerships and ask if there hierin for lot attendants. The best part is that somedays are really chill. If your lookin for experiance on working on cars, then take come classes, there nothing better.
I wouldnt call it good money at all.. unless you are living with your parents still. That is NO MONEY! My nephew was doing it.. he was taking home like less than 800 a month after taxes. He had to detail car interior, wash cars, polish rims, move cars, gas them up. He said it was slack work ... but you pretty much get paid nothing. I mean.. $15,000 gross and less than $12,000 net a year is not good money. That is if you get 40 hours a week. Personally, if I were you. Go be a dishwasher or cook at like Red Lobster, Smokey Bones or something like that. and take a vo-tech class. You will get alot more money that way and be able to tinker with your own car. Then when you have some knowledge under your belt. Go to a shop and get some real money. If you try starting at the bottom and moving up. It will probably be a long time before you start making decent money. Any way you pick is going to be your decision.
