there is something called "point of no return" which you can probably find in your VA divers manual. its basically the point where you cannot stop to avoid going thru a red light. i.e. if youre going 40 and youre at the line and the light turns yellow, you cant slam on your brakes safely to stop, you have to proceed through. this is the same application. good luck
