If he lives in their house, they're providing for him. Plain and simple, he has the right to contact his parents if he feels that is a way to get back what is rightfully owed to him. There's no law against that since this is basically a collection effort from a verbal contract.

Quite frankly, that would be one of the first things I would do if I were him. Cole owes this guy money, and he's had several chances to make it right. Something keeps happening, regardless of what it is. Something always comes up when he's supposed to pay, right? That's shitty. I'm not passing judgement on him, and could care less about his personal life... I just hate to see good people getting ripped off. The original poster didn't jump to conclusions and get on here bashing someone. He made every reasonable effort he could in order to collect the money that was owed to him, and I think that's pretty stand-up of him! Most people would immediately get on the internet and start running off at the mouth about how no one else should deal with the person, but he's being more fair to Cole than anyone could ever ask him to be. He's given him chance after chance, and I'd like to see this cleared up for everyones sake.
