hey seriously though, get whatever bike you feel comfortable on in a riding position, powerwise is up to you, so long as you respect the bike and ride within your limits even as a new rider you'll be ok, just RESPECT THE BIKE!!!!

and as far as group rides, I'm with skrooz on this one, newer riders in the twisties should be in the back......... otherwise they'll forget to zip up their pockets or something and start throwing phones your way.......... lmao!
