Why does it matter how many struts were replaced the first time? The strut is bad now, the warranty is still in effect, so the warranty co has an obligation to replace it. They are just playing hardball like normal.
If CarMax really submitted a fraudulent bill, don't you think that the warranty co would be coming after them? It just doesn't make sense to deny a claim because a part was replaced once before.
Either way, this guy has no case...CarMax is covering the repairs so he is not going to be out any money. CarMax might throw him a bone ($250 off next purchase) just to get rid of him, but he'll never see anything in court.
well lets see they made my warranty go way to quick because the only way they know how to check for something is to test drive it lol car never saw a lift when it was getting looked at , 4x4 specialist heard the first time around then check the side to side play of both struts from the cylinder and strut housing . carmax just didn't want to fix it properly so instead they wanted me to put more miles on broken parts so it could get closer to the end of my warranty with out having to fix it .
