I didn't plug in the third one on my ex and everything worked fine but when i try to install it into a 97 dx today, the tach wouldn't work! should i take apart the cluster (which i have done before on a si cluster) and try to find a replacement tach? i don't know where i could find a replacement tach for the sir since it was not manufactured here in the states, so maybe a crv tach would work?
