Wow. Seriously? Do you think that "the man" just prints more money to pay expenses? That causes inflation by devaluing the dollar. Tax revenues are divided among agencies to pay expenses. More to one agency means less to another, so yes in effect it does mean less money for schools. When a cop gets sued for beating a suspect, it means less money in the budget for cops on the street to protect others. A teacher gets sued, less teachers in the classroom to pay for the settlement. It's how the system works. Again, learn where your tax money goes.
