so back to what i was saying what is the speed offered im pretty sure its the same as cable.

The "offered" speeds are the same......Thats about it. My laptop has a faster download on a 5mb FiOS than a 10mb HSI connection...at the same time of day...from the same test site (The one we use at COX)

Ever seen a COX box on the side of your house, they aren't much smaller. Granted they are only used for phone....but they are still ugly as fuck.
