I've got a problem.
I have a 1988 Mitsubishi Mirage Turbo; some of you might know/have seen me. My problem is I want to lower it but there is no aftermarket support as far as lowering springs are concerned. Right now its lowered with these:

But its not low enough AND I doubt it'll pass state inspection AND the suspension squeeks.
Is there anything you guys can think of that I can do besides cutting the factory springs. If cutting is all I can do, is there anyone that can do it for me locally?
The rear suspension is completely different. As you can see in the picture the shocks sit next to the springs, not inside them. Any ideas? I'm not too worried about the rear because the rear fender is straight-topped, not rounded so it doesnt have any fender gap. But as far as performance is concerned, something for the rear would be nice.
Also, I would like a strut tower bar, but again noone makes them for my car. Not only does noone make them but the top of the strut is unlike regular cars also. Take a look at the picture. Mine doesnt have the normal 3 bolts that connect to the body of the car via the fender well. It just has one middle bolt that connects to a circular metal piece inside the engine bay. Any ideas? Could I just drill holes and bolt up a tower bar?
Any ideas/suggestions will help. (should i post this in the tech section?)
