ok my uncle owns a powdercoating shop in williamsburg, va called Peninsula Custom Coaters. i work there. ceramic coating holds up to very high temps thats why many people get their headers and such ceramic coated. powdercoating is way way tougher than paint. yea some powders only hold up to 400degrees but they do make high temp powders that withstand way more than 400degrees. see powdercoating and ceramic coating are two different things.
Could you pm me some info and pricing as to how much it would be to coat the rotors with ceramic, zinc, or high temp powder coat(flat black)?
