steve to my knowledge those are SOHC's and are turned past 7k only in extreme "i have to win" conditions.

abacus has two 240's in competition and they are SOHC truck motors. i've spoken with chuck about them and got this info. PDM racing in canada has the same spec cars and they provided similar info.
