and? you are in an area that has a few machine shops, all you need to do is call and ask if they have a timesert kit with the thread of your head bolt.


myself, i would pull the engine and tear it completely apart, i wouldnt want to risk metal shavings from drilling and tapping to make it into the engine.

i have had to buy a $500 insert set for one job before too....but it was still cheaper than buying a new block.
