Have you ever run at a drag strip before? I am just wondering what happens diffrently at the strip that doesnt happen on the street. No one puts a gun to your head and makes you break your car. You drive it how you want to. And honestly, you are alot less likely to melt a piston or somthing at the strip then on the street because your EGTs are much lower to start, less stress on cooling system and shorter time on the throttle. I dont think you are in the power/torque range yet to be breaking axles yet, so that shouldnt be a concern either.
