whats the advantage in using the 800 swinger? ive seen a pic and if i was looking at the right one.. the mount isnt one solid piece across? its more of a 'Y' ?

searching the net.. i read of a VFR/CBR RR conversion and they were knocking off the shock mount and rewelding it. yikes! thats the kind of work i'll be in for eh?
