Default Re: Any bass fishermen?

Burke Lake is a good place to fish. Last year I found a whole area of beds. Caught 8 in 3 hours trying to get them to hit. Smallest being 3lb and largest was 7lb 3oz. That was a awsome day at the lake. All caught off Jig-n-pig and ugly otter.

I haven't been over to fountainhead this year but I think i'll make the drive over there sometime soon. Are the weeds/grass even up yet? oh, btw Fountainhead is not a lake, its a rez.

If you know the Centreville area, there is a pond over by lifetime, behind Boarder Cafe off rt29. There are a bunch of bass there as well as sunfish and a shit load of huge carp, but who catches carp anyways. Fished there last year after work at around 9pm when it was raining. Me and my buddy caught 14 bass in 45 minutes off a point. It took more time to take them off the hooks then to catch them. Use cranks, spinenrbaits, and plastics and your set there. Have not failed once there yet.

There is another favorite pond by Westfield Marriot on Stonecroft Blvd. Pond has some very nice bass in there. I fish there sometimes on my lunch break and catch one everytime. I have also fell into the pond ass well, don't ask me how but it was raining. Plastics and spinnerbaits seem to work very well. When the lily pads are up......Plastics.....gameover.

There is a pond that I found end of last year that I started to stock some bass in. There were some bass in there before but not enough. I saw a few people fish threre but very rare because its above ground. I let the secret out later this year when I feel that its ready.

For the fishing enthusiasts, we should meet up sometime!

Tight Lines,
Eddie
