that surface in the picture has nothing to do with leaking tranny fluid. there is only 4 places on a tranny that fluid can come from and the block has nothing to do with it!
1. DRAIN PLUG
2. PASS CV AXLE SEAL
3. HALF SHAFT ENTRANCE SEAL
4. CRACKED CASING
