it that 315hp was at 5250rpm, the motor would be making 315tq. its a mathematical equation.....the more a motor revs, the less it ability to produce torque.

think about this....a high strung i4 motor revs to 9,000 rpm. a standard fair va runs to 6....6500?

torque peak is at what 3-4000rpm on a V8? THATS why torque is so high.

i keep forgetting the equation but its real, its true and it holds all the answers as to why a cars powerband looks like it does.
