There's a couple reason why the cops are out in force...one, it's riding season, they always come out to say hi to us!! Two, lost another one on West Neck about a week and a half ago...bad one I heard, guy went out on Nightengale, but never made it. And three...two many idiot riders on the road that have to go 120 mph through the straights...that's when the local residents make the call.
I usually stay around 50-60 on the straights, and speed up on the turns (what these bikes are made for...duh!!), and I rarely see the cops...then again, I rarely have to use my brakes when I ride either, but I'm in no hurry to wreck or see the cops!
