It's a Toyota, reliability is a no-brainer! I had a 93 turbo and I think I was getting around 27mpg (some where in that area). Not sure about upgrades though because I left mine stock (had it for 4 months and then some asshole ran me over in a lifted chevy on Va. Beach Blvd.) MR2's are great little cars, but that's just what they are, LITTLE!. Look at LS1 SS camaros, cheaper then your GTO, good gas, good reliability, looks good, and 22mpg highway! I think that there is even a Firehawk in the autotrader!

Ive been looking at Fbodies, but its just gonna be a tease from what I had (well, atleast in the stock form). I was/am somewhat considering an MR2 because their so nimble, it would be a fun car to drive. Size is def an issue though, im 6'2"
