Just about every Nissan motor is good for drifting besides the ka24e. I seen a couple stock kade at the drift event and they were holding their own. If you want to go daily then stay with the kade with bolts on’s and it should do ok at the drift events, if you turbo it the block is good for 400 hp if you tune it right and it is a fairly good block. I seen a couple sr's at the drifting event but by fair the best one was a ka24de-t but maybe that’s just because his was fully built. I think it comes down to owners pick. If you have a good engine in it, keep it and fix it up. You could fully build your ka or turbo it for how much a sr would cost you to go into your car. If you want a high revving drift/daily car go with the under dog ca18det and show everyone displacement isn't everything when it comes to drifting.
