The other day i took off the heatshield covering the exhaust manifold and noticed that turbo spool is slower. With the shield on it was almost instant 10psi with a touch of the pedal. Would exhaust wrap bring back that instantaneous spool? What are the advantages and disadvantages of exhaust wrap for turbos.
