Prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. Jail sucked in my experience. I served my time in the worst possible time in my life, so that added to the anxiety and stress. Fortunately in my case, I did something wrong to "earn" the punishment. If you're truly innocent, and go to jail, I honestly feel bad for you. My going to jail quite possibly saved my life. If I hadn't learned to slow down the hard way, I could be a slick spot on a road somewhere.
