They dont have to read you your rights if your arrested, only if your in custody and being questioned/interogated about what you were placed in custody for. If your arrested for drunk in public or assault in an officers presence (for example), he/she does have to read you your rights because he is not going to question you since it occured in his presence.
O thank goodness someone knows the law. Man I wish kids would stop acting so hard to the cops thinking they know the law more than the cop does
