We have a hard enough time getting people to follow the simple-ass rules we've got now.

The search function is fine as is: if you search and someone's thread doesn't come up because they're an idiot and didn't put in the right info to begin with, that means they damn sure aren't bright enough to figure out how to make their thread work with whatever searchable options there might be if that were to happen.

Also, that would be a pain in the ass to implement because what you're asking runs too wide of a gamut.

So basically not going to happen, sorry.
