89 civic si fuel filter, any suggestions on breaking banjo nut?
Trying to get my fuel filter off, fucking fuel is muddy in the bottom, i can break the 18mm bolt and the 12??mm nut that relieves the pressure, impact wrench for the win, but the oval shaped banjo nut is not breaking, had two people on it with wrenches and pliers and straps, etc... problem being is the fuel filter is of course loose, and ur basically holding it in midair to break the bolt, any suggestions? ideas? tools that work good for it? I was considering a 20/21 mm socket but, it's not made for a socket, wondering if one would be able to get a grip on it, regular open end of a box wrench grips it but, it won't break...
Anyways.. any shops wanna give me an estimate? I got parts, may need 2 new crush washers on one of the bolts cause I used 2 new ones, anywhoo... hit me up, appreciate it
