I have not heard anything nor do I know anything and I especially don't give a fuck about that piece of shit Wayne or that fucking shop. Let me reveal some truths about that guy. I did give you a heads up though when I hauled ass out of there and pulled my backing and shit that you should pull your motor out of there because he doesn't know shit about nissans.
Here's my top ten reasons why you SHOULD NEVER GO TO TOTAL AUTO REPAIR.
1) He has NEVER built a racecar, do not let him lie to you. I found this out the hard way and ended getting quite a bit of shit redone on my own 240 due to his dumbass.
2) He says he was a co-crewchief on a top fuel team. Bull fucking shit. I've talked to other people that were on that team and he was nothing. In fact, all of his videos were video taped by him. I didn't know that crew chiefs did video camera duty. In fact, the ironman trophies he has were bought by him. Yes, you read that correctly. He went to the trophy store and had them make him those trophies. That was from his mouth directly.
3) I would not let him touch one of my cars with a 10' fucking pole. He called me asking me how to do an SR swap into an S13 for a customer and he finally figured it out supposedly, but guess what, the car shorted out before the customer even made it home, the car was only hitting 4lbs of boost, and there were at least 3 rolls of electrical tape used on the motor alone. If only I could describe it in more detail. One day the pictures will come out. Oh, and Wayne decided to try to brag to me how he figured it all out and that the swap was more than perfect.. It looked like it came off the showroom floor. Right, with 10" holes made for intercooler piping.. A greddy intercooler kit made specifically for the car and yet somehow the pipes got cut, flattened, and grinded to make it fit. Yeah, I would really trust this guy with my car.
4) Supposedly for an RB swap into an S13, the front strut towers have to be moved. Also, the firewall needs to be cut and pushed back further. Yes, that is what I was told by Wayne himself.
5) He told a customer that had a honda that he doesn't need to go with a standalone or piggyback when the guy goes turbo, the stock ecu will handle it just fine and will understand the differences. Yes, that was from him directly.
6) NGK bkr6e are colder than ngk bkr7e. The lower the number the colder the plug. Yep, you guessed it, directly from his mouth. In fact, he argued over it with one of the good techs and never admitted he was wrong on that.
7) 14:1 a/f is way rich. The higher the number the richer it is. Again, that is from the genius himself.
8) He just put out an advertisement stating that he has a high tech mustang E dyno. Please find me that dyno. Goes to show how much he knows about his own equipment. Speaking of that, he dyno'd a mustang, centered the wheels on the front of the rollers and hit wot and just about launched that fucking car right off. Look at the paint in front of the rollers.
9) You want an oil change done by him? Better check your filter before you leave. He does not replace filters every oil change. He puts 2 marks on there with a sharpie before he actually replaces the filter. Nice to know you paid for one though.
10) This guy has gone through at least 25 employees since opening up in October 06. What the fuck does that tell you? Half of them haven't even received their final paycheck or it was seriously shorted.
