I was riding my R6 the other night on the interstate and it just cut off, the lights were blinking etc. So the highway assistance people gave me a jump and my bike started and I hurried home. I replaced the battery and rode for a few days and it happened again. I'm thinking it's something like an alternator but I don't think bikes have alternators, I'm not sure? I don't know much about bikes. Some friends have mentioned my stator may be going bad...is that something that can easily be replaced? Any ideas...I know it could probably be a number of things, but sometimes taking it to the shop can get costly or is there any one up here pretty comfortable with working on bikes?
