The main diff. is how you like to drive. All of those cars are RWD for a reason. some people feel that everything else is "wrong wheel drive" its hard to have a lot of drifting fun and what not with the STI without the rain, snow, or dirt. I mean you can launch those sti's like crazy off the line but you could also buy a Z for $18K Get a Stillen Stage 1 Supercharger with the warranty (3yr/36k) and it safely adds about 85-100 HP depending on the bolt ons you have; and more importantly beat an sti.
So thats 3500 for the SC
300-800 For the hood so the SC will fit
**** not sure how much the warranty is
300-500 Labor and tune
Total $23K
however you could also get the sti for about $22K and throw some money into that as well to push that into the upper 300 HP range. but you would total around
$26-28K
